Here’s the raw truth. I crave that connection as well. So, I want to get to know you, to capture who you are as individuals and who you are together. I believe that vulnerability and trust is earned and think it's just as important that I reciprocate that and share who I really am with you.
Documenting real life goes much deeper than just smiling for a camera. My goal is not to pose you while I take a photo, but to build the comfort between us for you to show up as your true selves and experience real moments of connection with each other. Bonding on a one on one level is what I'm all about. Listening to people's stories, quality conversation, and the serendipity of experiences just can't be beat for me.
What eloping means
The concept of eloping doesn’t mean what it used to back in the 1950s (last minute, cheap, unplanned, reckless, etc.). In simple terms, an elopement today is an avenue to get married for those who value experiences over productions and keep the emphasis focused on the two of you. An elopement is not just a ceremony and a few portraits. It’s an experience crafted with intention, tossing aside cliché traditions and social norms, and is uniquely yours. It’s a wonderful moment when you realize there are no rules, and you can make it whatever you choose.
What’s an elopement vs. intimate wedding?
Your elopement can be just the two of you, only a few friends and family, or up to 30 people. In the spirit of freely creating, let’s try not to put restrictions on the term elopement. What’s most important is maintaining the intimate feel and keeping the focus on you two. There’s no differentiation in pricing between the two. We were completely blown away by our engagement photos but I think what is also important to note is the connection we made over the year leading up to our shoot. Since day 1 Warren has been attentive and thorough while really working to get to know us and our story. He checked in with us on a monthly basis bouncing ideas back and forth and planning various meetups. He is not just our wedding photographer but almost has become like a brother to us and this entire experience couldn’t have ever happened without him.
My mom literally cannot look at our pictures without crying because they are so intimate, raw and REAL! Warren has an ability to capture the in-between moments that no one else sees between you and your partner and bring them to life. He’s amazing in so many ways and his passion for photography shows through the work he produces.
