Cliffside Elopement at Deception Pass

The first thing that comes to mind when starting to write this blog post is how happy I am that this has finally come to fruition. This styled shoot has been months in the making and, considering it was a fairly simple one, threw a lot of curve balls my way before coming to completion. Scheduling a time that worked for all the vendors, models, and that Seattle weather agreed with was no small task.

With that being said, it was absolutely worth the wait. The weather and location could not have been better and I'm pumped on the images we got. Kyle, Lexi, and I headed up to some cliff sides near Deception Pass. We may have technically still been in Washington, but it felt like we had teleported ourselves to Scotland. Our time shooting on the edge of the sea and watching fighter jets fly in and out of the Navy base did not dissapoint.

Nature elopements are becoming a new favorite of mine. I'm happy to say this is just scratching the surface as I'm heading to California next week and have two elopements which I can't describe how excited I am for. Thank you so much to Anna of Grace & Blooms, the folks at Dress Theory Seattle, and to Lexi and Kyle for modeling.

Hey, I’m Warren and this is my why behind everything I do!

I believe this is where it all starts and is at the heart of everything, so let me tell you. I have a soft spot for sentimentality and I think love is awesome. I’m so grateful that I discovered photography early in life because I’ve been able to document my own journey in a creative fashion. For that reason, I have a strong passion for giving that same experience to others and take great pride in getting the responsibility of documenting their stories. Each picture has a story or feeling behind it and I love to capture that novelty. Arresting those moments in time allows us to remember and feel more intensely. I know how much I value that and enjoy passing that along to others through photography. I would love to be a part of telling your story.
