A Road Trip Engagement Adventure Around Olympic National Park

Two engagement sessions on the Washington coast in two weeks! I had the best freakin day with Audre and Alex road tripping to some of their favorite spots on the peninsula. Ruby Beach, Lake Crescent, the Bremerton Ferry, and Seattle. We quite literally circumnavigated most of the peninsula and drove through seven different counties. This session has been in the works for almost a year since our first meeting. We hit it off so well and I feel even more of a tight friendship forming after this awesome day.

We left their place early and drove out to Ruby Beach to kick things off. We may or may not have counted how many times we could hit triple digit speed limits. We hit it right at high tide, but the light was awesome and the water beautiful. It’s a special place to their relationship so we enjoyed some chill time with wine and cheese and crackers. Next when I asked them to go stand out by the tall rocks Audre and Alex may or may not have almost been trapped by a tide pool.

After the beach we drove north and made a pit stop at Lake Crescent. We shot there in a timely manner and then hauled ass to make the ferry in Bremerton. We pulled up within one minute of the scheduled departure like totally bosses. We had beers and took photos on the ferry as we cruised back to Seattle and wrapped up an amazing day. I’m so pumped for these two and their 2020 wedding in Winthrop!

Check out the other recent coast session I did here.

Hey, I’m Warren and this is my why behind everything I do!

I believe this is where it all starts and is at the heart of everything, so let me tell you. I have a soft spot for sentimentality and I think love is awesome. I’m so grateful that I discovered photography early in life because I’ve been able to document my own journey in a creative fashion. For that reason, I have a strong passion for giving that same experience to others and take great pride in getting the responsibility of documenting their stories. Each picture has a story or feeling behind it and I love to capture that novelty. Arresting those moments in time allows us to remember and feel more intensely. I know how much I value that and enjoy passing that along to others through photography. I would love to be a part of telling your story.
